1,208 pass written exams for Philippine marine engineer licensure exam

02/04/2010   A total of 1,208 out of the 2,212 examinees passed the various written examinations for the marine engineer licensure examinations held last January, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said. 

At the same time, 478 examinees passed the written phase for the second engineer and the officer-in charge licensure exams that were held from September 2009 to January 2010.

The PRC added that 712 applicants have been “upgraded" as chief engineer officer. Philippine Inquirer
